The Kamloops Film Society is the umbrella organization that runs three main events. The KFS Film Series, The KFS Film Festival, and the KISS Festival.

The Film Series are weekly screenings of Canadian, Independent and International films. We run three Film Series; FALL (September to November), WINTER (January to February) and SPRING (March to April).

The Kamloops Film Festival is a 10 day celebration of excellence in filmmaking. Screenings take place in March at the Paramount theatre, including opening and closing galas, workshops, special guests and many other events.

The Kamloops Independent Short Shorts (KISS) Festival is a showcase of local filmmakers in the short film category. Held in March during the Kamloops Film Festival, we screen 5 min. or shorter films in any genre from independent filmmakers in the Kamloops region. Prizes are awarded at the end of the screening.
